Kijima Takuji
Kijima Takuji is the owner of Junk Jungle, a clothes store.
Kijima was friends with Namura and Ryoko ever since high school days.
Yuu worked part-time at Junk Jungle.
Kijima Rei
Kijima Rei is the owner of a small decoration shop. She is Kijima Takuji's wife.
Miki worked part-time at Rei's store.
Akira
Akira is Rei's brother and possibly partner at her store. He works there with her. He meets Ryouko there and instantly likes her. It appears that she may feel the same with him but she turns him down when he asks for a date. Apparently she hasn't gotten over Namura yet.
The first time that my husband say Akira, he said, "It's Elvis!". This is because Akira's hairstyle is very similar to Elvis Presley's. Akira is a very soft spoken and quiet guy who is a painter when he isn't working at Rei's shop. There is a great episode in which Meiko is having a hard time so she decides to take a walk. She comes across a bunch of kids painting and they ask if she wants to join them. She does and Akira is the teacher of the kids. They spend the afternoon together and Meiko has a great time joining in on the fun. It was almost like she figured out what she was missing because of her unusual childhood.
Ryouko and Akira do end up together, it seems. They are still together in the last episode in which part of it takes place after the kids graduate. I have a feeling they did well together in life.
